Many Feared Killed In Fresh Katsina Attack

Many people are feared dead and injured following an attack on a community in Batsari Local Government Area, Katsina State.

The perpetrators reportedly launched the attack on Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.

Dozens of houses including government structures and vehicles were said to have been burnt.

When THE WHISTLER contacted the state’s police spokesperson, Gambo Isah, for comments on the incident, he said he was in a meeting and asked our correspondent to call him back later.

But the lawmaker representing Batsari in the state’s House of Assembly, Jabir Yauyau, confirmed the attack to Daily Trust.

Yauyau, however, could not provid details of the attack to the medium.
