Many Trapped As Another Building Collapses In Lagos

Many people are feared trapped after another building collapsed in Oke Arin area in Lagos Island.

This is coming barely one week after a three storey building collapsed at Ita Faji area of the Island which left no few than 20 persons including children dead.

Recall also that another three storey building under construction collapsed in Ibadan, Oyo state. The incident had no fatalities recorded.

Meanwhile, the latest development occurred as officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LABCA) were demolishing a house beside the building.

Spokesman of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Kehinde Adebayo said that a rescue team was on its way to the scene.
