Speaking in an interview last year, she said; “For me, WIMBIZ was a platform to offer my skills, channel my considerable energies meet people and contribute to the world. When I was named chairperson, I felt humbled, honoured and very excited about all the possibilities and things I could accomplish. Challenges drive me; and an opportunity like this presents a most unique learning experience.

“WIMBIZ has been a part of my life for a long time. I have been a part of the organisation since 2001, when I attended its first conference which was hosted in Abuja. In WIMBIZ, I saw an opportunity to express myself and contribute my talents to a meaningful cause; the work is primarily volunteered.”
