Meet Female Army Officer Who Made First Class, Received All Awards At NDA

Uchechi Promise Echefu is a gem, and among bright Nigerian ladies who are changing the narrative about women.

Echefu is a superb combination of brain and beauty.  But she must also be one of the toughest women on earth.

She recently graduated from the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA)  in Kaduna where she bagged a First Class in computer science from the Faculty of Military Science and Inter Disciplinary Studies.

But that is not all the story. She also took home most of the awards of excellence available at the military institution.

She was the Best Graduating Student and also received  the Commander-in-Chief Best Graduating Cadet (Academic), Afe Bablola Best Behaved Graduating Cadet, Chief of Defence Staff Best Graduating Cadet in Military Science and Inter Disciplinary Studies, Commandant Best Graduating Cadet in Computer Science, and Best graduating cadet in Navy.

The delectable soldier is from Mbeke in lsiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

A journalist with the Voice of Nigeria, Rafat Idris Salami, who attended her graduation, posted her story on Facebook and described  Echefu as “Role model for any girl child.”

Her brilliance has been applauded by some Facebook users.
