Metuh, who was arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja is accused of an offence which is said to be contrary to sections 166 and 326 of the Penal Code Act.
Recall that the EFCC alleged that Metuh destroyed the confessionary statement which he made under caution to the operatives of the anti-graft agency.
The PDP spokesperson has been on remand in prison, pending when he would fulfil the bail conditions imposed on him by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
He is being prosecuted before the Federal High Court in Abuja with respect to charges of his alleged involvement in the N2.1bn arms procurement.
