Minister ‘Dumps’ Buhari’s Appointment Over Political Ambition

The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has announced that he would resign his appointment in one week.

He made the statement while speaking to State House Correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The minister’s resignation follows plans to contest in the forthcoming Ekiti State governorship election.

Fayemi emerged the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State after beating a former governor of the state, Segun Oni in the primary.
