Moghalu Consults Northern Group, But Twitter Users Give Him 2023 Advice

On Saturday, Twitter users offered unsolicited advice to former presidential aspirant, Kingsley Moghalu, after he tweeted about his meeting with a northern group.

Although Moghalu’s tweet did not make any reference to 2023, some Twitter users did not see any reason for the meeting if not to further his presidential hopes for 2023.

“Consultations…met with a group of professionals and entrepreneurs from Northern Nigeria convened by Usman Gumi, brother of Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, and Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad, former Chairman and CEO of National Hajj Commission (2nd and 1st left of me) in Abuja this afternoon,” he had tweeted.

THE WHISTLER had reported that Moghalu had on November 5, 2019, advised Igbos to cooperate with other parts of Nigeria if they hope to win the presidency.

“Ndigbo should pursue the agenda of both constitutional restructuring and the election of a competent, visionary Nigerian from the Southeast geopolitical zone as President of Nigeria in 2023 as a matter of priority, persuading, lobbying other parts of the country within the democratic context of the imperative of this approach in order to rebalance Nigeria along the lines of equity and justice,” he had stated.

But some Nigerians on Twitter interpreted Moghalu’s consultation as preamble to 2023 and have offered their advice.
