More Trouble For Gov Ganduje As Journalist Releases 3rd Bribe Video

Amidst his investigation for alleged bribe-taking in two separate videos, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje is seen in a third video allegedly receiving kickback from government contractors.

The latest video is said to be the third of 15 clips in which Governor Ganduje is alleged to have indiscriminately taken bribe from service providers that he had awarded contracts in Kano State.

Recall that news website, DailyNigerian.com, had initially released two separate videos where the governor was seen taking chunks of dollar bills from unidentified persons believed to be contractors who had returned to give him commissions on government contracts he awarded to them.

The website’s publisher, Jafar Jafar, had appeared before the Kano State House of Assembly to defend the videos as authentic.

Mr Jafar had in a statement after appearing before the State Assembly said, “In the case the video clips in question, our in-house technical expert, the editor-in-chief and editorial adviser certified that the videos were original and not doctored contents,” adding that, “Experts from Amnesty International Nigeria, BBC and PREMIUM TIMES also watched the clips and certified their authenticity before we went to press.”

Governor Ganduje is currently being investigated by the State House of Assembly.
