Nasarawa APC Chairman Abducted By Unknown Gunmen

The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed reports that the state chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Philip Tatari Shekwo, has been kidnapped by unknown persons.

Bola Longe, the State Commissioner of Police, had confirmed the incident to newsmen on Saturday.

Shekwo, was reportedly abducted by unidentified gunmen in large number at his residence in Lafia at about 11 pm taking him away to an unknown destination.

Longe, however, revealed that security agencies had reacted swiftly by deploying personnel to different forest locations in the state to ensure the safe release of the chairman.
