NDA Denies Ordering Arrest Of Air Force Personnel Over Security Breach

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has denied ordering the arrest of one Sergeant Torsobo Solomon over his alleged involvement in the recent bandit attack on the academy.

The Public Relations Officer of the Academy, Major Bashir Muhammed Jajira, in a statement on Monday night, said the arrested Air Force personnel was not in custody of the NDA and has no connection with the academy.

He maintained that the Nigerian Defence Academy is a military training institution and not an investigative security agency while directing the general public to refer to relevant security agencies for clarification.

Jajira added that the perpetrators of the security breach on the Nigerian Defence Academy architecture will be apprehended soon.
