The Borno state Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Kaka Lawan Shehu, disclosed this to newsmen in Maiduguri the state capital.
“Despite logistics problem facing Borno Command of NDLEA, just last week they made significant arrest of 5 drug barons in Maiduguri and Biu,” Kaka said.
“The substances consist of 14 jerry cans of 25 litres of ‘suck and die elements’, Cannabis 235kg, 50kg of tramodol and other deadly substance meant for supply to the terrorist groups.”

The Borno state NDLEA Commander, Barrister Ona Ogilegwe, also confirmed that the illicit drugs consist mostly of cannabis, tramodol, diazapham and “suck and die.”
