Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that Israel will strike Iran if it targets his nation for reprisal attacks.

He made the disclosure on Wednesday.

“Anyone who attacks us will receive a resounding blow,” he said at a Jerusalem conference.

Netanyahu also described Qasem Soleimani, who was killed by a United States air strike on Friday, as “terrorist-in-chief”.

“Qasem Soleimani was responsible for the deaths of countless innocent people, he destabilized many countries for decades, he sowed fear and misery and anguish and he was planning much worse,” he said.

Following the US killing of the Quds leader, Iran vowed to attack US allies in the region, adding that they can only be appeased when US presence leaves the middle east.
