NEXT LEVEL: Buhari’s Tough Decisions Will Benefit Nigerians, Says SGF

Tough decisions to be taken by President Muhammadu Buhari in his second term will be in the interest of Nigeria, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustafa has said.

Mr. Mustafa disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Yola, Adamawa state on Monday.

Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, won a second term  after defeating his main challenger, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the February 23 presidential election.

Buhari asked Nigerians to brace up for “tough” times during his second tenure when members of the federal executive council paid him a congratulatory visit on March 1.

He described the president as a good man, who had the trust of ordinary Nigerians and would like to see improvement in their lives, while the nation moved to the next level.

“When we came to power in 2015 about 27 states couldn’t pay salaries; we had to take tough decisions like giving them bailout and Paris Club refund.

“These are tough decisions,” Mustafa said.
