Neymar, Di Maria, Paredes Test Positive For Coronavirus

French Ligue 1 giant, Paris Saint-Germain, has confirmed that three of it’s players and staff have tested positive for the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic on Tuesday.

However, the club did not mention the names of the infected persons in their tweet.

“Three @PSG_inside players are confirmed positive for the Sars CoV2 test and are subject to the appropriate health protocol.
All players and staff will continue to test for the next few days.”

French tabloid, L’Equipe revealed that the three infected players are Neymar, Di Maria and Paredes.

Sunsports reports that the duo of Neymar and Paredes has been on holidays at the famous Island Ibiza

The French league resumed for the 2020/2021 season on August 21 but PSG were exempted from playing due to their involvement in the champions league which they failed to win at the finals.

PSG is billed to resume their Ligue 1 title defense on the 10th of September with a fixture at Lens, but this could be a serious doubt with the reported case of the virus.
