NFF To Conduct Fitness Test For Referees Ahead Of League Resumption

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to commence physical fitness test for FIFA referees ahead of the kick off of the new season.

The NFF disclosed this on its official twitter feed on Wednesday.

According to FIFA, fitness test is conducted for referees to measure their physical abilities which includes Repeated Sprint Ability (RSA).

The RSA measures the ability of the referee to sprint over 40m, and the Interval Test which evaluates the referees ability to do series of high-speed runs over 75m interspersed accompanied with 25m walking intervals.

The exercise will start from Wednesday 4th to Thursday 5th of November at the main bowl of the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja.

Recall that the league is billed to kick off on November 15
