Niger State Confirms 4 New Cases Of Coronavirus Are Returnees From Lagos, Kano

Niger State has confirmed four new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), out of the 26 results received from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Commissioner for Health and Hospital Services in the state, Muhammad Makusidi, revealed this in Minna, the state capital.

According to Makusidi, the four positive cases are returnees from Kano and Lagos States, adding that the remaining 22 cases were negative.

A statement issued on Saturday by Chief Press Secretary to Governor Sani Bello, Mary Noel-Berje, quotes the commissioner as saying two of the cases were are in Bida while the other two were residents of Suleja and New Bussa.

“He emphasised that all the patients including the ones already on admission are in stable condition and are receiving treatment accordingly,” the statement said.
