Nigerian Army Finds Abducted Chibok Schoolgirl

A statement issued by the army spokesman Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, said that she was rescued with her 10-month-old baby boy born to a Boko Haram fighter.

Usman said the girl was discovered in Pulka, Gwoza Local Government Area, in Borno State, by troops who were screening escapees from Boko Haram’s base in the Sambisa forest.

Her rescue comes few weeks after the federal government secured the freedom of 21 of the Chibok schoolgirls after a series of negotiation with the Boko Haram sect.
