Nigerians Call Out Pastor Timi Adigun Over ‘Sexual Assault’

Nigerians have taken to the microblogging platform Twitter to condemn Timi Adigun, a pastor in a young people ministry, MINE Ministry, for alleged sexual assault.

Pastor Adigun is known for preaching on the need for sexual purity among teenagers.

The cleric was accused of sexually assaulting teenagers of MINE Ministry where he supposedly preached about sexual purity.

“Timi Adigun” was trending on Twitter on Thursday over the allegations of sexual assault.

Narrating the story, a twitter user identified as @Orifunke, claimed that the pastor had been abusing some of the young girls he was supposed to be helping to maintain their sexual purity.

When Biodun Fatoyinbo's case went viral, Timi Adigun of Mine Teenage Ministry told his church members not to be talebearers or speak against a man of God.

However, the organization has come out to dissociate itself from the pastor, stating that they have tried reaching out to him over the matter with no response.

1. Based on the issue of sexual harrasment against Timi Adigun, the Coordinator of MINE Teenage Ministry, we hereby dissociate the message of the ministry from his actions
