Nigerians Can Now Monitor Progress On Second Niger Bridge Construction Online – Julius Berger

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has launched a dedicated website, www.second-river-niger-bridge.com to enable the general public follow up on the progress of the Second River Niger Bridge project.

According to the construction firm, visitors to the site will have access to visually driven content mainly photos and videos reflecting the actual status of construction works along with key facts and regularly updated data relevant to project progress.

 A glance at the website shows that the scope of works include the construction of 1.6km long bridge, 10.3km Highway, Owerri interchange and a toll station.

The project, which is to be completed by February 2022, is a Federal Government Project, managed by the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing in collaboration with the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority.

Upon completion, the national infrastructure, with immense socio-economic benefits will ease traffic flow, improve road safety, and create greater opportunities for local residents by advancing the commercial viability of the immediate area and regenerating economic life.
