Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala Named In Forbes Africa’s Exceptional 30 Under 30

Reigning African Women Footballer of the Year and Super Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala has been named along with other successful young Nigerians in the Forbes Africa’s 30 under 30 list.

Forbes 30 under 30 is a list published annually by Forbes magazine to recognize exceptional success of individuals under the age 30 in various industries.

The Barcelona forward has been in stellar form for the club, scoring 20 goals in 19 matches with one assist putting her as a strong contender for the highest goal scorer award.

The 25 year old is also the reigning African Women Footballer of the year.

Oshoala started her football career in the Nigerian women’s Premier league and played for FC Robo and Rivers Angels before lacing her booths for Arsenal and Liverpool Ladies both in England.

Oshoala was not the only Nigerian on the list as Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola (Dj Cuppy), Eazi, Patoranking, Tracy Batta, Olajumoke Oduwole and Swanky Jerry also made the list .
