Nigeria’s Covid-19 Cases Rise By 601 to 51,905

Nigeria has recorded 601 new cases of COVID-19, bringing to 51,905 the number of confirmed cases in the country.

It also recorded one COVID-19 related death within the last 24 hours, raising the toll from 996 to 997.

Announcing this on Saturday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said Lagos recorded 404 new cases; Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 37 ; Oyo, 19, Ondo 14; Abia, Ebugu and Kaduna, 13 each.

It said: “Nigeria has so far discharge 38,767 patients”

The COVID19 pandemic has changed lives in many ways. To control the outbreak, the NCDC advise that Nigerians must adhere to measures such as wearing a face mask and physical distancing.
