Nnamdi Kanu Phones Fani-Kayode…Speaks About Buhari

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has reportedly contacted former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode on Saturday after over one year of his non-appearance.

Fani-Kayode revealed in a tweet that Kanu gave him a phone call, telling him he is “alive and well”.

The former minister, who said this via his verified “@realFFK” Twitter handle, expressed joy that he could finally speak with the IPOB leader after the long uncertainty that surrounded his well-being.

The last had been heard of Kanu after some Nigerian soldiers invaded his family house in his Abia home country last year.

Fani-Kayode said, “I just received a call from my brother Nnamdi Kanu. I am delighted that he is alive and well. I commend his strength and courage even as I marvel at the loyalty, resilience and commitment of his lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor and IPOB. We have agreed to work together to VOTE Buhari out.”

Mr Kanu made headlines on Friday after he resurfaced in a video that went viral on social media.

The video showed the IPOB leader praying at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

His lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has also confirmed that he is alive and well in Jerusalem. He said the IPOB leader would hold a press conference on Sunday.
