NNPC Commences Issuance Of Employment Letters To Successful Applicants

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has commenced issuance of employment offers to 1,050 graduate trainee applicants.

The NNPC disclosed this in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Samson Makoji few minutes after the Federal High Court 6 sitting in Abuja dismissed a suit seeking to stop the recruitment exercise.

The statement quoted the Group Managing Director, Mallam Mele Kyari, as saying the outcome of the exercise reflected national spread and complied with all statutory requirements.

The Corporation, however, added that the recruitment for the Experienced  Hire( those with experience and higher certifications) will be addressed in due course.

it will be recalled that the 2019/2020 recruitment exercise kicked off via nationwide adverts in the national dailies and online media on 13 March 2019.

It was followed by shortlisting of qualified candidates and on 1st June 2019, the shortlisted candidates sat for Computer-Based Testing (CBT) across the country. Successful candidates were later Interview in July 2019.

He said the NNPC is an equal opportunity employer in the Oil & Gas Industry value chain and will continue to recruit the best hands in order to buoy its operations nationwide.
