NNPC Explains Why Aba Depot Is Empty
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corperation (NNPC) has given explanations as to why the Aba fuel depot is empty.
On Saturday, a Facebook user identified as Emmanuel Nnadozie Onwubiko, called out on the National oil firm saying “PPMC why is Aba fuel depot empty,NNPC why.”

But in response to Onwubiko, the Corperation explained that the depot’s emptiness was as a result of pipeline vandalism.
According to NNPC, the Pipeline and Product Marketing Company( PPMC), a subsidiary of the corperation was ready to pump fuel to the depot but noted that the pipelines had been vandalised.
The NNPC however assured that the Nigerian Pipelines and Storage Company Limited (NPSC) was currently undertaking repairs in the state under a new security surveillance contractors.
“NPSC working real hard to bring back the line onstream,” said the national oil firm
