NNPC GMD, Kyari Pays Homage To President Buhari In Daura

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, on Tuesday, visited President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State, in the spirit of the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

Kyari joined dignitaries such as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha, governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), among others, during the courtesy visit to President’s Daura residence.

They were led to the President’s home-country by Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari.

Buhari’s guests, which included the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), Governor Kayode Fayemi and the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, prayed for good health for the President.

Buhari thanked his guests for the visit after which he went into a closed-door session with the governors.

Among the President’s guests were governors Babajide Sanwoolu (Lagos), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna) and Godwin Obaseki (Edo).

Others were Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, and the Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Isa Pantami.
