Nollywood Actor Sends 100 Kids To School

Award winning Nollywood actor and comedian, Williams Uchemba, says he will send 100 kids back to school.

The actor, known for generosity, disclosed this in an Instagram post on Tuesday, where he revealed the before and after pictures of the first two kids he sent to school.

He wrote: “My sending 100 kids back to school project is not over as my team in Nigeria is working tirelessly to complete the project.

“Am glad to see that Grace and Precious are back to School after several months of staying at home because of school fees.

“I decided to put them on Scholarship to the best of my capacity by the Grace of God. Let’s get more kids back to school and more people off the street, you can also be part of these project as well.”

Uchemba, who hails from Southeast Nigeria, started his career from his childhood days. He won the Best Kid Actor in Nigeria award in 2002 for his role in a movie titled “Oh My Son”

He has also starred in a number of movies, which featured popular stars like Olu Jacobs, Ramsey Noah.

Uchemba is currently the African Youth Representative to the United Nations and CEO of Prothesis Entertainment Limited.

He is a graduate of International Relations, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
