Nollywood Actors Urge Support For Emeka Ani After Video Of Him Crying For Help Surfaces Online

Some Nollywood Actors have started rallying support for veteran actor Prince Emeka Ani, who suffered a partial stroke after a surgery he did some years back refused to heal.

The call for assistance from the Actors came when Ani shared a video where he was begging Nigerians to help him live again.

The actor who publicly asked fans for financial support noted that he has been sick since December 7 2020.

His colleague in the industry, Yul Edochie on Monday shared a video of Ani asking for financial support on his verified Instagram page.

Speaking on his health issues, the Veteran Actor in a video shared by Edochie stated that the injury he got as a result of the surgery has refused to heal due to the diabetes.

He said, “My name is Prince Emeka Ani, I am a Nollywood veteran actor. I have been sick since December 7, 2020. I was taken to the hospital for medication and surgery took place around my buttocks but because of the nature of diabetes I have in my system, the sore refused to get healed. Since then, I have been battling with my life.

“Along the line, I had a partial stroke and at the same time, I’m having pains in my eyes. If you look closely you will see the growth in my eyes, that is cataract.

“That means if proper care is not taken, it might lead to blindness. I, therefore, want to cease opportunity to thank all the people that have contributed immensely to my upkeep.

“I want to plead with you fans, well-wishers, brothers, and sisters wherever you are, please come to my rescue, I need your financial assistance so that I can be taken to a better hospital for proper treatment, if possible be flown abroad, I thank you all, God will bless you as you help me live again.”
