Nollywood Romances Bollywood As Nigerian, Indian Actors Feature In ‘Namaste Wahala’ 

Nigeria movie industry Nollywood has broken another record through collaboration with Indian movie industry Bollywood to produce a movie titled ‘Namaste Wahala’. 

“Namaste Wahala” is a story of love, romance, laughter, tears and family set over two diverse and rich cultures and produced by Indian filmmaker, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja.

The movie stars Mofe Damijo, Ajoke Silva, Inidima Okojie, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Segal Sujata and Adaora Lumina.

Others include Ibrahim Suleiman, Big Brother Naija’s Frodd, Imoh Eboh, Osas, Eneeicha, Lyk10, Mexemania, Tience Pay and MI Abaga.

Bollywood movies are popular in Nigeria.

This is the first time in the history of Nollywood that Nigerian is featured in a Bollywood movie

The movie is set to hit cinemas in April 24th.

Recall that for years, there has been a relationship between Nollywood and Hollywood and number of Hollywood stars such as Isaiah Washington, Vivica Fox and Kim Basinger have featured in Nollywood films, quite a number of Nigerian actors have also featuredin Hollywood such as Genevieve Nnaji to Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Stephanie Linus Okereke and others.
