“Yes, we have started the collaboration with the CBN, BOI and the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development. It started before I came in and now we are looking at ways of expanding it. In the camps, we do skill acquisition for corps members and we are partnering with these organizations and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to provide capital for start-ups.

“You know there are no longer white-collar jobs, so we encourage corp members to take advantage of these opportunities,” he said.

Recall that the DG had earlier visited the Ogun State Orientation Camp where he stressed that NYSC had partnered with Bank of Industry, Central Bank of Nigeria, among others, for the purpose of providing start-up finance for corp members who have business ideas.

THE WHISTLER had reported that the DG further urged members to promote national unity during their service year as well as develop entrepreneurial skills that would give them an edge in their future endeavors.
