Oba Of Lagos Humiliates Ooni Of Ife In Public
In what could be described as bewildering, the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Aremu Akiolu, on Tuesday publicly humiliated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi at a public function in Lagos.
In a short video clip which has gone viral, the Oba Rilwan Akiolu II refused to shake hands with the Ooni as he arrived the World Conference of Banking Institutes hosted by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) in Lagos yesterday.
Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II walked over to greet the Obas sitted at the event, but as soon as he offered the Oba of Lagos his hands, Oba Akiolu looked away and dismissed him with a wave of the hand. Ooni then quietly returned to his seat.

The incident, however, sparked outrage on the social media across the country, with many describing the Oba of Lagos as disrespectful.
