Obasanjo Attends PDP Rally In Ogun

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo stormed the rally of Oladipupo Adebutu, one of the governorship aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun state, on Monday.

The rally was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the state capital.

Adebutu, who is a member of the House of Representatives, is Obasanjo’s son-in-law.

The former president wished Adebutu and the PDP well in the forthcoming election, adding that he came to the event to say hello.

“I am just passing by and decided to say hello and wish you well… whether it is a joke or a real game, they will know. I saw you here and I came to play with you,” he said.

In 2015, prior to the general election, Obasanjo dumped the PDP, a platform he served two terms as president.

His decision was as a result of a fallout with then president Goodluck Jonathan. He has since reconciled with Jonathan.
