Obiano To Obaze, ‘Forget Anambra Guber, You Should Be Distributing Relief Materials In Syria’

The serving Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has advised two of his contenders in the November 18 gubernatorial election, Oseloka Obaze, to surrender their ambition of becoming the next governor of the state.

Obiano said Obaze, who is a former diplomat at the United Nations and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ought to be in Syria distributing relief materials to refugees rather than contesting in the upcoming election.

“My good friend Oseloka Obaze worked in the UN, but the best place for him to work now is in Syria – to be distributing relief materials,” said Obiano.

The governor, who said this during the governorship debate organised on Sunday by Channels Television, did not spare the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Dr. Tony Nwoye.

Obiano described Nwoye as being incompetent for job, saying the APC candidate has never worked all his life, hence cannot lead Anambra.

“By the way, what Anambra requires is somebody that can drive the process and I am the only guy here that can do so. Tony (Nwoye) doesn’t have the executive capacity, he hasn’t worked in his entire life,” he said.
