Ogun Guber: Kashamu Out As Court Declares Ladi Adebutu PDP Candidate

Senator Buruji Kashamu has been sacked as the Ogun State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the Court of Appeal on Tuesday.

The appellate court consequently declared Mr Ladi Adebutu as the flag bearer of PDP in the Ogun gubernatorial election, setting aside a Federal High Court judgement that hitherto recognized Kashamu as the party’s candidate.

According to the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr Kola Ologbondiya, Adebutu has now been officially recognized as the party’s candidate in the upcoming election in 2019.

“Appeal Court declares Ladi Adebutu as authentic @OfficialPDPNig governorship candidate in Ogun State, sets aside High Court order making Buruji Kashamu candidate,” Ologbondiyan said in tweet.
