Oliseh resigned from his position as Super Eagles head coach in February, citing bridge of contract and lack of pay as the reasons for his exit.

In March 2013, Oliseh was appointed by FIFA as a member of its technical study group. He was part of a technical team that evaluated the Borrusia Dortmund versus Liverpool game in the Europa League quarter-finals last Thursday, April 7.
