Olu Jacob’s Life Time Achievement Award Excites RMD, Joke Silva

Legendary Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs’ lifetime achievement award has excited his Wife Joke Silva and Actor Richard Mofe Damijo.

The actor made a public appearance at the AFRIFF Globe Awards 2021 amid death rumours.

Last month, after a video of him, surfaced online showing how he visited his wife at a movie set, the news made rounds on the internet that the veteran actor was dead.

However, the report was debunked by Joke Silva who said her husband was hale and hearty.

The veteran actor received the Life Time Achievement Award at the AFRIFF Globe Awards 2021, for his contribution to the Nigerian movie industry.

Jacobs was accompanied by his wife as they made an appearance at the event.

Taking to her verified Instagram page, Silva congratulated her husband while sharing a picture of him with his award,

She wrote, “Lifetime achievement award winner, sir Olu Jacobs @_olujacobs, courtesy @afriff.”

Also, Actor Richard Mofe-Damijo took to his verified Instagram page to congratulate his senior colleague whom he fondly refers to as Uncle J.

“Congratulations my very own uncle J @_olujacobs. A well-deserved Life Time Achievement Award. Because of you, I am. Pathfinder you are. I celebrate you and your family.

“It is my good fortune that I can call you and my baby Sister @ajokesilva family. Thank you forever being so gracious to me. Like my people will say, my knees are on the ground for you. It is well with you!” he wrote.
