The judge will fix a date for judgement on October 22 after the adoption of the final written addresses.

The Court of Appeal had in April 25 okayed the dismissal of the no-case submission filed by Kalu, in response to the charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

In a lead judgment by Justice M.L. Garba, the Court of Appeal said Justice Idris, was right to have on July 31, 2018 dismissed Kalu’s no-case submission and ordered him to put in his defence.
