Osinbajo Departs Abuja For Rwanda

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday departed the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, for East African country, Rwanda.

Osinbajo is going to represent President Muhammadu Buhari at the 25th Anniversary of the Liberation of Rwanda which is holding on Thursday, July 4.

Announcing the Vice President’s departure in  a statement on Wednesday was his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Laolu Akande.

Akande said, “Prof Osinbajo will join other African leaders and Heads of State expected at the occasion, scheduled for Thursday, July 4, in Kigali, which will reflect on the end of the genocide in 1994.

“The Vice-President, who will be accompanied on the trip by senior government officials.”

Osinbajo is expected back to Nigeria on Thursday, July 4.
