Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday, visited Imo State, for a one-day working visit as part of his ongoing Niger Delta Dialogue.
Osinbajo will during the visit engage with Imo State’s oil producing communities, as well as commission some projects in the state, the Presidency reports.
The Vice President explained that the tour of the Niger Delta region was part of President Muhammadu Buhari’s promise to engage the people of the oil-rich Niger Delta “to hear them, to seek to better understand their problems first hand” and to proffer a “new vision and new compact”.
