The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, is currently presiding over the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.
The meeting is taking place inside the council chambers at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Opening prayers were said by the Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Jibrin; and the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu.

Osinbajo is presiding over today’s meeting in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently on vacation in the United Kingdom.
Buhari departed for London on Friday, for a 10-day vacation.
