Ahead of INEC’s official announcement of the winner of the Osun State governorship rerun election, the Presidency has congratulated the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for its triumph in the poll.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, took to Twitter some minutes ago to congratulate the APC whose candidate, Isiaka Oyetola, had emerged second in the initial election that was declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Although INEC is yet to declare the winner of the Osun governorship election, there are indications that the poll may end up in stalemate as PDP’s Ademola Adeleke was previously leading with 365 votes in the election that was declared inconclusive.
