The main opposition party in the state also said it “learnt that there is ongoing cloning of PVC at the Government House, Osogbo. We were told the PVCs of the affected areas have been tampered with through @inecnigeria database. All these are been done to manipulate the supplementary poll.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), had declared the Osun Gubernatorial election as inconclusive after PDP’s candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke polled 254,698 votes against the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Isiaka Oyetola, who scored 254,345 votes, leaving a difference of 353 votes earned between the two leading contenders.

Thursday’s rerun contest will be a straight battle between Adeleke and Oyetola, as the rerun will hold only in the seven polling units where results were cancelled. However, other parties will be allowed to participate.
