The foundation posted the scholarship alert via Facebook on Thursday, stressing that the portal will be closed by January 26, 12 noon.

The foundation said that application is for “all” fresh and returning students.

“Goodnews! Our Scholarship portal is now open for application for all New and Returning students of Covenant and Landmark Universities. Log onto www.davidoyedepofoundation.org/portal to apply,” the foundation stated.

DOF also made it clear that it will determine the beneficiaries from all the applicants.

“The DOF scholarship program currently covers fresh students. However, DOF reserves the right to award scholarship to individuals who are not freshers if exceptional status is determined by the scholarship award committee,” it stated on its website.

Checks by our correspondent on the foundation’s website, showed that a session was created for “new” and “returning” students.

The foundation’s goal is geared towards creating a “ripple effect that would change the economic situation of Africa”, through education, among others.
