He said he was doing his part to help government ward off the pandemic from the state.

He also said that Christians should understand that their community, states and nation, among others, should be part of the beneficiaries of every good thing in their lives.

“We have been called to be salt and light of the earth and the first place that should benefit from the sweetness and illumination is home, this is why I am supporting the Osun State government in the fight against covid-19 with the sum of 20 million naira,” he said.

The cleric also promised to provide the state with other necessities required to cushion the effect of the pandemic on the people.

“I know this might not fully cater for all areas but this is my token.

“We will continue to support as many people as we can this period with foodstuff, safety gears, sanitizers and whatever is essential through our CSR arm; God bless you all,” he said.

He thanked God for transforming a part of the state used for prayers, into developed place with basic amenities.

“Each time I visit mount Carmel prayer village , Ifewara , I can’t but thank God for His mercies.

“Looking back at those days, basic health-care was even a shadow of what it is today but its better than what it used to be,” he added.
