Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has been nominated as the Chairman of the Ondo State Gubernatorial Primary Electoral Committee by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, approved Ugwuanyi’s nomination alongside Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, who will serve as member of the committee.
According to a statement issued on Monday night by the National Organizing Secretary of the party Austin Akobundu, said the committee has the mandate to conduct the primary election for the PDP flagbearer in Ondo State, in the forthcoming 2020 governoship election in the state.

“The exercise is scheduled for Wednesday July 22, 2020 in Akure City, Ondo State,” Akobundu said.
