The party, in a statement by its chairman, Bro Felix Obuah, signed by his special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam said that the development proves that Wike “is a promise keeper.”

The party further said that the development demonstrates the Governor’s magnanimity towards the Ogoni in particular and Rivers in general.

The PDP thanked Governor Wike for spreading development round the State, adding that the projects would also boost commercial activity and provide job opportunity to the unemployed in the area.

The party, therefore, called on Ogonis “to continue in their support for the Governor”, stressing that “to whom much is given, much is also expected.”
