He said no aspirant in his party or other parties would intimidate him.

The governor assured Nigerians that his party will present a candidate who will win the 2023 election and not one who will lose.

He said, “No Presidential aspirant in PDP can intimidate me. We will present a candidate that will win election come 2023.

“I won’t support any double standard person both at the state and national level. You must be a stable person.”

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Senate President, Bukola Saraki, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim and former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, are among known presidential aspirants in the PDP.

Wike described some if the aspirants in the PDP as agents of the All Progressive Congress (APC), adding he will not support such candidates.

“We saw what happened to Dr. Peter Odili, some people run after you insisting on giving them power, they turn around to fight you,” he said.

The governor debunked claims that he is planning to run for president, stressing he would not run for an office he cannot win.

“I won’t run election just to answer former presidential candidate, is that a CV? even if it is a CV, I don’t want it.
