Peter Okoye Inks Deal With American Record Label

Nigerian entertainer, Peter Okoye formerly of Psquare has signed a distribution deal with American record label, Empire, his first major step as a solo artist.

Peter, who recently parted ways from PSquare and now referred to as ‘Mr P’, made the announcement in an Instagram post on Thursday.

“Thank you Lord. Just had a digital distribution deal with @peterpsquare! Welcome to the #EMPIRE family,” Okoye wrote.

Empire is a distribution company and record label based in San Francisco, California with offices in New York City and Atlanta.

Artistes such as Kendrick Lamar, Busta Rhymes, Migos, Tyga, and Remy Ma have been on the roster of label.

Empire also announced the new deal via Instagram, saying: “Welcome to the #EMPIRE family @peterpsquare! Thank you for @kingkanjafor the introduction & partnership!”
