The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, held the Lagos leg of his campaign rally on Monday before a cheering crowd.
The Lagos PDP rally took place at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island, and recorded a substantial turnout of supporters of the presidential candidate.
Speaking at the rally, Atiku promised to restructure Nigeria and make the country’s resources count more for the people if elected as President at the February 16 election.
Meanwhile, supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are holding the view on Twitter that Atiku may not get much votes from Lagos because the rally today allegedly recorded low turnout when compared to the crowd that graced President Muhammadu Buhari’s rally in the state last weekend.

This is the @OfficialPDPNig’s rally in Lagos. Look at the crowd we pulled without Tinubu. Without insulting Obasanjo. Without threatening foreign observers within “body bags”. Nigeria is ready for @Atiku

You are showing pics from one angle in an empty arena and you think what? My guy, I grew up in Lagos, went to KC, right next to TBS, there is no digital manipulation that can deceive me about topography of that area, none. https://t.co/6lUJ4fsbIC

TBS Has a capacity of 50,000, @OfficialPDPNig could not bring 5,000 people, maybe 7,853 max, yet they claim to have more people than the 20,000 people @OfficialAPCNg had at Taslim Balogun SMH LOL

The only state Atiku won was Lagos state with 500k votes.
Most of his voters who summed up his 2m+ in 2007 were from Oyo, Osun, some eastern and NE state.
Also let's not forget that that was the most rigged election in Nigeria's history. OBJ literally rigged PMB out. ?

Happening now: As we enter the final stretch of campaigns, it's appropriate for me to say that we are absolutely proud of our people, their dedication and the sacrifices that they've made for us to be here today. Lagos welcomes you @atiku #AtikuLoNiEko #AgbajeHostsAtiku pic.twitter.com/Is0nDUzZvE
