Photo Shows Saraki Shook Hands With Outgone IGP Idris

Contrary to the earlier report that Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, snubbed a handshake from the outgone Inspector-General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, during the Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration in Abuja, photos from the event have shown otherwise.

Vanguard newspaper had earlier reported that Mr Saraki and Idris’ face-off was allegedly displayed publicly at the National Archade in Abuja where the Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held to honour the nation’s fallen heroes.

The newspaper reported that the outgone police boss saluted Saraki and was going to stretch his hands for a handshake with the Senate President when the latter walked away and shook hands with other service chiefs.

But photos from the event have proven otherwise, as the Senate President was seen exchanging a handshake with Mr Idris.
