The conference, which is expected to last until 29 September has as its theme “Adaptation, engagement and evolution of parliaments in a rapidly changing commonwealth.”

During the conference, the Nigerian delegation would join other parliamentarians to identify solutions to challenges that are commonly faced by member parliaments as well as enhance democratic values and practices.

The CPC flagship event will bring together over 500 parliamentarians, parliamentary staff and decision-makers from across the commonwealth for the conference and networking opportunity.

The CPC offers the prospect of the coming together of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA’s), a global membership of parliamentarians and parliamentary staff to address the critical issues facing contemporary parliaments
